Nanaimo Farmers Market Online exists to enhance the physical and social health in our community. We offer products that are locally sourced and of the highest quality, and we want everyone to love the items they purchase here! If you are dissatisfied with a product that you have purchased at NFMO, please contact us for a resolution.
The NFMO team will inspect and pack all orders prior to delivery. In the event that product gets damaged during packing or is found to be of poor quality upon pick up or delivery, we will refund that portion of the order to the customer. Please see additional customer satisfaction details below.
NFMO’s main goal is to provide high quality, local produce. Since all of the farms we work with are growing with organic practices (although not certified organic), it should be expected that fresh produce can have some inconsistencies that are not apparent in mass market produce. The produce may not look “perfect” but instead offers higher quality nutrition and freshness from a quick harvest-to-delivery timeline. Any claims made for “certified organic” will be accompanied by the appropriate information pertaining to the claim.
Our return policy exists to promote customer satisfaction while setting reasonable and fiscally responsible boundaries for refunds and exchanges. We ask that you observe the following guidelines:
- For unsatisfactory items, we will issue you a store credit, or a refund in the same tender that you paid for the item.
- In the case of non-perishable products, a pick up will be arranged before a credit will be issued.
- In most cases, we ask for proof of purchase—the product itself or its packaging are acceptable. In the instance of perishable product, we ask that you discard the product and inform NFMO, via email, as soon as possible.
- An item that has been recalled may be returned, in adherence with the guidelines presented by the agent which has issued the recall.
All returns and refunds are subject to the discretion of NFMO.
Orders for the week are closed on Tuesdays at 9AM. Delivery is Thursdays from 11am onwards. If you will not be home to receive your order, please leave us instructions for a safe place to leave it. We highly recommend a cooler with ice packs be placed in that location.
All items from your order will be sent in a single shipment. If an item is out of stock for any reason, you will be notified. We are not offering pick up options or deliveries other than Thursdays at this time.
